About Us.

Northern Arizona Baseball Academy coaches are all life-long workers. We will do anything we can do to help our student-athletes reach their goals. As a program, we have experience that spans from high school all the way up to MLB. We all have seen how the game should be played at various levels. This will give our student-athletes an edge because of the exposure and perspectives that our coaches will bring.

Founders Experience

Tyler Pasley

From Canton, Illinois

Born and raised in Canton, Illinois. Attended Lincoln Community College as an 3B/1B before suffering two career ending injuries, started coaching right away at the high school level and giving lessons. During his last semester of college he moved to Arizona to work for the San Francisco Giants and Arizona Fall League. Has had the ability to coach with and play for some amazing coaches and is one of the co-founders of the Northern Arizona Baseball Academy to give back to the baseball community.

  • 6 years coaching at the high school level

  • 4 years coaching at the club ball level

  • 2 years coaching at the youth level

  • 1 year working at the MLB level

  • 1 year collegiate player

  • 1 year working for perfect game

  • 1 year managing D-BAT Scottsdale

Ryan Strickland

From Tucson, Arizona

Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. 4-year player at Presentation College in South Dakota as an OF/RHP. After graduation Ryan worked in the Admissions department at Presentation College, participating in numerous recruiting events and admissions events. Ryan is a co-founder of the Northern Arizona Baseball Academy and is committed to helping players further their lives both on and off the field.

About our Coaches

Our coaches are lifelong learners. We are always trying to better ourselves as coaches so we are update to date in the ever changing baseball world. Our coaches meet once a month to talk about how each month is going practice wise and game wise. We are constantly trying to get better and you will not find a group of coaches that works harder for our student-athletes.

Alonso Tabares-Ramirez

From Flagstaff, Arizona

3 year player at Coconino High school. Born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona. He has lived in Flagstaff his whole life and sees a chance to give back to the community on and off the field.

Anthony Apodaca

From Flagstaff, Arizona

3 year player at Coconino High School. Born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona. Anthony has also lived in Flagstaff his whole life and he is one of the most passionate guys we will have and he will be a big help to our outfielders and pitchers.

Dalton Carlisle

From California

3 year high school player. He went through the Scout School curriculum built by the MLB. Coach is certified by the Baseball Bureau.  He will be a key piece to our weight room development and biomechanic development.

  • 3 year high school player

  • 1 year working for the Arizona Fall League

  • 1 year working at Salt River Fields

  • 1 year working at Camelback Ranch

  • 1 year interning at Push Performance
